Common questions
I bought Unlimited but a device still shows the free limit
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchase. The purchase follows your Apple ID, so any device signed into the same Apple ID is covered, including one signed in after you bought it. If it still does not unlock, check that the device is signed into the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
My items are not appearing on my other device
iCloud sync is optional and off until you turn it on, and it has to be switched on separately on each device. Turn it on under Settings › iCloud everywhere you want the same shelf, and make sure all of those devices are signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive enabled.
The cloud button on the main screen pulls immediately rather than waiting. If it shows a red mark, the message beneath Sync with iCloud in Settings explains what is wrong.
How do I get my data out?
Settings › Export Data writes your whole shelf — items and their files — to a single package you can AirDrop, save to Files, or send anywhere. Importing the same package on another device merges it back in. Nothing is locked in.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual items from the shelf, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on that device. If you had iCloud sync switched on, your items also exist in your own iCloud account — those can be removed in iOS Settings under your Apple ID › iCloud › Manage Storage.
Search is not finding something I know I saved
Search covers your text, titles, file names, your own descriptions, and words read out of your photos — and it matches by meaning as well as by exact words. Text recognition and the search model finish shortly after an item is saved, so something added seconds ago may take a moment to become findable.
Why did a reminder not repeat?
By design. Do This Later is one reminder on one day you choose. There is no recurrence and no overdue state — once it has fired it is finished, and the item leaves the tab. If you want to be reminded again, set a new date.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes, on Macs with Apple Silicon. It is the same app and the same purchase, and on a larger window it lays out as multiple panels.
Requirements
